Tuscany, a special territory for wine tourists

Tuscany is the protagonist among the destinations for wine tourists, few territories in Italy boast a concentration of wine places as different and as special as this region. And among the destinations for wine tourists, this year, the gentle hills around Siena cannot be missing, where the Chianti Colli Senesi is born and where the Palagetto winery is also located. It is directed by a family of winemakers who have always lived in the shadow of the towers of San Gimignano and who make respect for the territory and its traditions one of the keys to their work.

A story made of passions that leads to the wines of Palagetto

Nonno Luano prominent figure for the creation of the company, thanks to his commitment and his passion. Is now carried out by the three grandchildren Arianna, Niccolò and Luca Fioravanti. The winery is one of the largest in the area and is only 1500 meters from San Gimignano, halfway between Siena and Florence. Among the wines of the company, stands out the Vernaccia di San Gimignano, the white wine most related to the territory of the winery, but also the red Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG, excellent in combination with cold cuts and traditional Tuscan dishes.

A few years ago, Palagetto also gave birth to the Arianna Line which, as the name says, is linked by a double thread to the young producer. ” Personality, attention to the world around us and the treasure of what has been handed down to us. Appreciate and know how to use the past to best express the future. These are the ideals that inspired the Arianna line, along with the prince grape variety of San Gimignano: La Vernaccia” says the company.
